M.Sc. / M.S. in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Ecology, Molecular Biology, Botany, Zoology, Physiology, Biotechnology, Neurosciences, Bioinformatics, Marine Biology, Geology, Human

Biology, Genetics, Biomedical sciences, Applied Physics, Geophysics, Material Science or Environment Science. The shortlisted candidates on the basis of the performance in the aptitude test, are called for interview. Another merit list is then prepared on the basis of 70% weight-age for their aptitude test marks and 30% weight-age for their interview. Stream SA: SA is meant for students of 11th standard who have scored at least 80% marks in aggregate in science and mathematics (70% marks in case of SC/ST/PWD) in class 10th board examination. Such students if selected, will start their fellowship once they enrol themselves for a basic science undergraduate course (B.Sc./B.Math./B.S./ B. Stat. /Inter. M.Sc. /M.S.) in the academic session 2018-19, after securing at least 60% marks in aggregate in science subjects (50% in case of SC/ST/PWD) in standard 12th Board examination.
Stream SB/SX: SB is meant for Biology students and SA is meant for Mathematics students. The examination paper would consist of two sections A and B. Each section would consist of all the four subjects. Section A will consist of 20 question from each subject and section B will consist of 10 question from each subjects. The candidates are required to attempt any three out of four subjects, in section A and any two subjects out of four subjects in section B.
